My story for this short composition plays with the idea that the ubiquitous use of electricity in the early part of the 20th Century, had unusual side effects on the people who lived close to it regularly. The side effect I wanted to focus on was mutation, and in particular, just one limb, as this would allow me to also concentrate on the matchmoving process and also the over all look/style of the piece.
Week 1: pre production / concept
This week was slow going for concepts as Ive not only been sketching out ideas for the the CG arm, but chasing lighting (unsuccessfully), working out storyboards (to be posted), and the costume for the live action character.
